Ansel Adams was born on February 20th, 1902 and sadly he passed away on April 22nd, 1984. Ansel Adams is best known for his astounding back and white photography of the American west, and he was also a commercial photographer for 30 years. In 1927, Ansel Adams’s first photograph was acknowledged and from then on, he became way more successful. At first, Ansel Adams started out in school like a normal child, but after tons of distractions he caused in class, his father Charles decided that Ansel’s formal education was over. He was then homeschooled in Greek, English and Algebra and the sciences involving things around his home. He was also very serious about learning the Piano and later in his life after he was married to Virginia Best, he was forced to make a choice between being a professional photographer or a Pianist. In the end he chose to be a photographer and since then the world has benefited from his photography.
